Since 2016 TURAN natural water has been a committed partner of YARKOCross Charity Running Race.
Every summer a 5km race is organized in five cities of Kazakhstan. YARKOCross literally means “a bright running race”. And what makes the race special is that each participant has to run 5 laps amid the clouds of brightly colored powder. The event not only promotes healthy lifestyle and generates lots of positive emotions but also supports the country’s ecology. All the funds raised during the event are used to plant trees.
YARKOCross started as a small race with only 250 participants and has grown into a nationwide movement with 25 thousand members.
Improving the health of the nation, and consequently the quality of life, is the mission of TURAN natural water brand. That is why, TURAN enthusiastically participates in organizing the charity races every year. TURAN also takes part in the subsequent campaigns to make the city greener together with the Plant a Tree Foundation. In the course of these campaigns more than 400 trees were planted in Almarasan Gorge along Navoi street, a sports ground was constructed and benches were installed in one of the city’s parks. More than 500 young trees and shrubs were planted in 2015 at Almaty Zoo around the outdoor enclosure of Japanese cranes and at the Contact Zoo for young children.
